Desde el marco del Proyecto Sin Alambrados, nos vinculamos con Christian Kiher, presidente de la «Bund Naturschutz in Bayer» (Asociación Naturaleza en Baviera) en Alemania.

Generando lazos sin fronteras

Christian es alemán y vive en Ebermannstadt junto su esposa Sara (argentina) y sus tres hijos. Él, además de ejercer como profesor de inglés y castellano, es presidente de la asociación en su ciudad desde el 2010. La Bund Naturschutz se encuentra en Alemania; hace 100 años que trabaja en la región de Baviera y 40 años en Forchheim, de donde pertenece la ciudad de Ebermannstadt. Los objetivos de la asociación están relacionados principalmente a la preservación del medio ambiente así como también formar y trabajar con los habitantes de la región. En Ebermannstadt, se compone por 400 miembros de los cuales, actualmente, 20 se encuentran como activistas.
En la charla, Christian nos cuenta que desde que es presidente su máximo logro fue frenar la construcción de un supermercado en el bosque de su ciudad. Específicamente, lograron llegar a un plesbicito, donde el pueblo tuvo el derecho de votar, dando como resultado positivo para la perservación del bosque. Haber caminado por sus calles y conocido su infraestructura podemos afirmar la no necesidad de agregar un supermercado más a la comuna, teniendo esta suficientes puntos de abastecimiento descentralizados. En su accionar, recientemente, los miembros en Ebermannstadt, hicieron oir su voz en la protesta de la construcción de un túnel de 5 km que atravezaría gran parte del bosque. La construcción del mismo era para desviar el tránsito que pasaría por el medio de la ciudad hacia las afueras. La construcción fue cancelada debido al costo de su operación: 90 millones de euros. A pesar de que las razones no fueron de carácter ambiental, otra vez la asociación se siente victoriosa.
Hoy en día, de forma paralela, la asociación trabaja activamente vinculada a la comunidad. Por ejemplo, los voluntarios ayudan a agricultores en la siembra de árboles de cerezos y en la cosecha de manzanas, como así también organizan salidas a campo para chicos en vacaciones, como podría ser un día a la cantera donde se pueden encontrarse fósiles.

Bund Naturschutz en Ebbermannstat, realiza una reunión anual importante con sus miembros y varias constantes durante el año, donde no solo discuten sobre temáticas que preocupan en la actualidad en la ciudad sino también de índole de interés general. Recientemente, Chistian expuso sobre un caso de agroecología en Argentina, precisamente de la estancia «La Aurora», ubicada en Benito Juarez, provincia de Buenos Aires. Lo cual muestra su amplia visión, dando la oportunidad de que la asociación pueda compartir entre sus miembros, y con el resto de la comunidad, ejemplos globlales.
Hemos ejercido otra de las aristas de nuestro proyecto socioambiental Sin Alambrados, que es la vinculación con entidades, asociaciones, grupos sociales o similares que esten el camino de realizar actividades afines, con el objeto de compartir experiencias, formas de trabajo, alcances y otras. De esta forma, compartimos a Christian sobre grupos que trabajan en Argentina en diversos campos, como por ejemplo el Plugin Social, quienes de la reutilización de residuos dan soluciones sanitarias implementando energías renovables.
Desde Sin Alambrados queremos destacar el accionar de Bund Naturschutz no sólo por su vinculación con el medio ambiente sino también con la sociedad. A su vez, porque consideramos importante mostrar a nuestros leyentes cuánta fuerza tiene el accionar de unas pocas personas actuando en conjunto en pos de la mejora de la calidad socioambiental.
